and looks great on your wrist. The watch is
the classic Omega Seamaster. An automatic
watch that does not run on a battery,
and must be wound. The watch also acts as
a great conversation starter. As you will probably hear: "Hey, nice watch..."

This watch has been on interviews at
Pentagram, and Martha Stewart Living.
Hopefully it gives you better luck than I.

interview. The light blue dress shirt, paired with dark blue jeans. Says "I am
with it." You will feel cool and confident. While looking like you "belong."
With out being to dressed up or too dressed down. A bold but subtle
black belt is the icing on the cake, while your shirt stays tucked in. Shoes are

DESIGNER'S SPARE / OLD COMPUTER

This computer is a 15" Macintosh PowerBook, and was purchased when
I started my education at The School of Visual Arts. In the year of
2005 It helped me along the way, and was very reliable. Though I found
myself using the computer labs more times then not. Sometimes even living
there. This computer is a bit out dated, and definitely wears its years
on its sleeve. Though equipped with CS 2. This computer would be great
for short trips and for presentations in meetings. You could strip
it down to make it run faster, and have it solely be for presentations.

*Please note: Needs to be constantly plugged into the charger.

Bidding starts at:

$200.00

DESIGNER'S ARTIFACTS

While attending The School of Visual Arts
I found this particular artifact before it
was going to be thrown out! It is a
humongous wood frame, made to replicate
Steven Heller's book about the great
Paul Rand. This was actually being thrown
out, after Mr. Heller's exhibition was
held at The School of Visual Arts.
Which celebrated his prolific writing career.
This would look great in any designer's
office, studio or apartment.

*Please note: You have to buy the actual
book in order to read it.

Spanning a broad spectrum of
successfulness. There are some
true gold mines in here. Some so
good, I won't even say. This is
perfect for mass e-mailing your
PDF portfolio.

*Please note: This does not
guarantee responses. Please don't
freak out.

DESIGNER'S DESIGN BOOK

This book is exceptionally great, if you're interested in starting
your own studio. Aside from that, How to be a graphic
designer, without—losing your soul,
is an overall great book. Especially if you're worried about losing your soul,
though souls don't pay your rent. Or maybe they do.

In all seriousness though. This is a terriffic output on Mr. Shaughnessy's part. I really do think that any graphic designer,
young or old. Should take this book in. Because, yes, it is
hard to keep you soul in a business, that at times is soul-less.
Maybe for you its a constant balancing act. Which I think it is.

DESIGNER'S CAT

Cat's make great pets, especially for the hard working designer. They are
extremely self-sufficent. This cat is especially great. On top of
being self-sufficent, she has all the personality in the world. Her name is
Seagrape and she was adopted from a close friend. She makes a great
studio mate. Perfect for running risky decisions by, and weird design
solutions. She is about 2-3 years and is a calico. She loves to be brushed.
But only when you've sent all your work off!
